Shipping and returns
Draft based on French law. Details in square brackets will be completed before launch and the text approved by a lawyer or accountant. The French version is the binding one.
Shipping zones
Shipping from France to five zones: France, European Union, United Kingdom, United States and rest of the world. Every country can be selected at checkout; whatever is not in the first four zones is treated as rest of the world.
Costs and delivery times
Always insured, tracked and signed for on delivery. The delivery time applies to finished pieces (Ready pieces). For commissioned pieces the production time is added.

Customs and import duties
Customers outside the EU, including in the United States and the United Kingdom, bear all customs duties, taxes and other charges arising on import. These are not included in the purchase price and are neither advanced nor refunded. For the USA: tariff code HTS 8211.92, origin “Handmade fixed-blade knife, France”.
Damage in transit
Please report any damage in transit within 48 hours of receipt, with photographs, to j.bataillet@mac.com, so that the insurance claim can be made with the carrier.
Returns
The 14-day right of withdrawal applies to finished pieces, not to commissioned pieces. Details, procedure and form under right of withdrawal.
Important before any return: lightly oil the blade (camellia oil, Ballistol or food-grade mineral oil) and pack it dry. Otherwise carbon steel and Damascus rust on the way. The customer is liable for corrosion damage caused by a lack of care; the loss in value is deducted from the refund, up to the full purchase price.
