A big knife for the outdoors, with a 21-centimetre blade in leopard Damascus. The handle pairs olive wood from my own land with water-buffalo horn, two materials that only get better with the years. It is built to be used: by the fire, in the woods, on the chopping board.

Care
After use, wipe by hand, wash and dry immediately; never in the dishwasher. Before storing, rub in a thin film of mineral oil or camellia oil: it protects blade and handle and keeps olive wood and horn from drying out. Cut on wood or plastic, not on ceramic or stone. The patina that forms over time is normal and gives extra protection against rust.
